"For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him." (Colossians 1:16)
Quite simply, you were created for God's purpose and pleasure. God created you to have a relationship with Him (whether you acknowledge it or not). God has plans for you, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) Are you listening to God? Have you even asked Him what His plans are for you? God would tell you, "Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." (Proverbs 19:21) So, we can run about trying to plan our lives by ourselves, while hoping to find a purpose in it all, OR, we can look to the One who already knows it ALL! Trust God. Pray for His guidance in all that you do. "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." (Romans 8:28) God has a plan for your life here on earth. Choose to accept Christ into that life, so that God may guide your path from this day forward, and give you a purpose. What purpose? "Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20) Now "that's" the kind of purpose worth living for. Amen.
