Are you trusting Jesus in "all" you do, or are you still trying to do a few things on your own (because you think you can do them better than God can)?
Here's a newsflash...you can't. Let go of the "floaties" you're still clinging to in your life and trust all things to God. I promise that He's big enough to handle whatever it is you're finally going to let go of. "And", He'll figure out a much better solution than you ever would have on your own. 1. You're not even promised a tomorrow, so why worry about it. (James 4:14)
2. Be grateful for what you have, versus complaining about what you don't. (Philippians 4:11-13) 3. One day at a time, one step at a time. It may not feel like progress, but it is. (1 Corinthians 15:58) By grace through faith! Then live your life as He would have you live it and not by your old selfish desires.
"Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous." (Romans 5:18-19) The bottom line is Adam left you a legacy of sin. But God, through the loving sacrifice of His son, offers you the free gift of grace to atone for those sins. Past, present and future. All you have to do is acknowledge that sacrifice, repent of your past, and ask Him into your heart. Jesus already did the extraordinarily hard part, so the rest is up to you. He's ready when you are. And when you "don't" put Jesus first, it's unfair to whomever (or whatever) you did put there, because that person or "thing" can't possibly live up to your expectations.
"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." (Matthew 6:34)
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." (Philippians 1:6)
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." (Philippians 1:6)
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." (Matthew 7:13)
"He alone knows the perfect moment when He can intercede most effectively. He is not concerned with speed, he is concerned with accuracy and making sure your situation is dealt with in a way that Glorifies the Son." - Stacy Hord Hulm
If my math is right, you're 33 "million" times more likely to win the Powerball than the odds for this to have happened (as it all did) lol.
