When you are in a season of waiting, it's very easy for the enemy to play mind games with you. Satan wants you to worry about what's going to happen "next". He wants to create in you anxiety over what mistakes you may have made that landed you here.
This is the time you need to keep your focus on the cross and not listen to the enemy's lies. God knows you're anxious and confused, and that's why He tells you to cast your anxiety onto Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). God doesn't want you worrying about anything, but instead, He wants you to be praying about everything (Philippians 4:6-7). Talk to God when you are feeling under attack. He's right there and wants you to share your feelings with Him. “From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me.” (Proverbs 61:2-3) Ask God to forgive your unfaithfulness, and remember that He is ALWAYS faithful, even when we are not. (2 Timothy 2:13) Pour yourself into the word of God, devotions, prayer, and song, so that He may comfort and guide you during this difficult season. “Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (James 4:8) Lastly, "do not fear"! The Lord your God is always with you, will never leave nor forsake you, and will use all this for your own good, and for His glory in the end.
