Event Coordinator Packets include Susan's resume; brochures/ flyers and testimonies from past events; detailed topic lists; and copies of recently-published articles, all in an attractive, professional folder. While much of the information is already available on this Web site, a packet may be necessary for committee consideration or budget approval.
It is helpful if you include a note telling me the following: • Details about your event: When and where, your target audience, and the theme of the day/weekend/mission. • What do you expect me to do: Keynote/plenary speech, workshop (single or repeated), Lenten/Advent mission over several days, single-day or multi-day retreat? • Your budget for a speaker, including travel and hotel costs. • I like to set up a table to sell my books and journals, meet participants, and answer questions. Will that be a problem?
This will enable me to offer suggestions for your particular group or tell your committee how my topics will fit into your pre-chosen theme.
