Ears = Heart?

And if you know how to love, then listen to God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8)

"Listen to my instruction and be wise. Don't ignore it. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD." (Proverbs 8:34/36)

Fill your heart with scripture, devotion and song. "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." (Proverbs 4:23)

​And be VERY careful of what else you listen to...

"For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths." (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

If you want to guard your heart, start by guarding your ears!
